# mack-court
A Court System for RedM **RSG-Core**. Judges preside over cases, players register as
jurors, and the jury votes (Guilty / Not Guilty) through an in-game clipboard UI.
Guilty defendants receive jail time and/or a fine, and every completed case is logged
to the database for the judge's Records tab.
## Features
- **Judge job** (`judge` + `governor` by default, any job in `Config.JudgeJobs`).
- **Jury voting** — players register as jurors at the courthouse (min `2`, max `5`).
On `Open Case` the defendant and the whole jury are *locked in* for the case.
- **Clipboard UI** — a styled clipboard (same look as the mack shop scripts) with tabs:
Case, Jury, Vote, Sentence, Records.
- **Vote popup** — each juror gets a clipboard-style popup with a red **Guilty** and a
green **Not Guilty** button. One vote per juror, and voting must happen within
`Config.DistanceToJudge` metres of the judge.
- **Live tally widget** — a red/green vote counter (top-right) shown to the judge,
the locked jurors, and anyone standing within `Config.DistanceToJudge` of the judge.
- **Two verdict modes**, chosen per case:
- `jury` (default) — majority rules; a tie requires the judge to issue the verdict.
- `judge` — the judge decides; jury voting is optional RP flavour.
- **Sentencing** — presets for jail time and fines, applied to the locked defendant
(jail via `rsg-prison`, fine taken from `bank`/`cash` and paid into the judge's job
funds via `rsg-bossmenu`, both optional and safely skipped when not running).
- **History** — past cases stored in `court_logs` and viewable in the Records tab.
- **Locales** — all text lives in `locales/en.lua` (only one language file needed;
the `Locale:new` system uses it as the default).
- Debug prints are disabled by default and live behind `Config.Debug`.
